Join us October 10 at 10 a.m. at the Evendale Cultural Arts Center as David Ogden demonstrates some wonderful color techniques. He will be demonstrating what he calls ‘one-stroke multi-color.’ Participants should bring a Pilot parallel pen or a Speedball type C nib, some paper and some yellow ink, blue ink and red ink. Colored pencils are also recommended. We will be doing a blackletter style influenced by Julian Waters.
If time permits he may also show a gestural type italic influenced by Hermann Zapf and Peter Thornton. For that a small nib or small fountain pen will be sufficient.
