For those new members who do not know. Every year the Evendale Cultural Arts Center holds a Big Art Party! the first Friday of August. It’s a really fun event where all the instructors and groups can do demonstrations and introduce their art to the Evendale Community.
We are participating this year and have been asked to create and help others create Weathergrams like we did at the last meeting of the year in May. Amy Owens will thankfully, again, be leading this and we are looking for a few more volunteers to help out. Please let me or Amy know if you are available.

Planning for fall
While we haven’t really planned out our meetings yet, I have filled in the dates at the left. We are having an exhibit in the upstairs hallway at the Center from Oct. through December. I’ve arranged to have our September meeting in the upstairs classroom. As a reminder for any new members, we normally meet at the Bell Tower Pavilion, but the ECAC is down the hill on the corner of Glendale-Milford Rd. and Reading Rd.
So, if you have some new work from over the summer or something else you already had done, feel free to bring it. They can accommodate from as few as 10 pieces up to 26 pieces. More info will come as we have it.
Also, please feel free to reach out with any meeting ideas or suggestions. This is everyone’s calligraphy guild and we want to know the type of things our membership wants to do and see.
