Please join us for our next meeting, Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 10 a. m. (doors open at 9:30 a.m.) to noon at the Evendale Cultural Arts Center where David Ogden will be demonstrating/teaching a fun and easy blackletter minuscule style.
It is influenced by Julian Waters, very attractive and can be done quickly. David recommends bringing a Pilot Parallel pen at 3.5mm for best results. Otherwise a standard nib like a Brause or Speedball will give good results, but he recommends a larger nib, equivalent to the 3.5mm.
You will also need paper and if you do not have a lightbox, a pencil and ruler would be good to have.
