Greater Cincinnati Calligraphers' Guild

Knolls of Oxford Exhibit: Call to Artists

The Greater Cincinnati Calligrapher’s Guild is seeking calligraphic pieces to be displayed at The Knolls of Oxford from May – June 2012.  There is no entry fee for this exhibit.   However, response may determine the number of pieces by a particular calligrapher that are hung in the exhibit.  Small pieces and calligraphic books will be displayed in one of two display cases.  Any props/display stands and suggestions for display would be appreciated.  Larger pieces will be hung in a gallery-like hall; consequently, pieces must be ready to hang with appropriate hardware on back (preferably wire ready for the hangar).  All pieces must be packaged so they can be moved to the exhibit area without being damaged.  Packaging materials need to be labeled to facilitate matching with pieces at the end of the exhibit.  Please notify Jo Diamantes at jodiamantes@cinci.rr.com by April 1st of your intent to enter pieces in this exhibit.  Include your name, the name of the artwork(s), the media used in creating the piece, and whether or not the piece is for sale.  If it is for sale, please include the price.  Artwork will be collected the last two weeks of April, and arrangements for return will be made as the exhibit is taken down.
